Hernando and Natalie head to Branson, MO to The Worman House

Well my good pal Natalie took me to Branson, MO. We originally headed to Branson for a wedding. Natalie's cousin was getting married so we went to the wedding on Saturday. We stayed in a log cabin with 10 other members of her family. Branson is so beautiful. If you ever have a chance to go...TAKE IT! The wedding was the most beautiful wedding I have ever seen. We had so much fun! We danced all night! MAN....were my paws tired the next day.

The next day we went to visit Big Cedar Lodge. While we were there we went to The Worman House.

In 1921, Jude Simmons and Railroad Philanthropist Harry Worman bought 300 acres of forestry land to build a place for people to go to have fun due to the fact that railroads came about and people were able to travel a lot more. They built multiple resort homes on this beautiful piece of land. Simmons created a log mansion that is still on the property today and The Worman House was created from Tudor Style stucco and stone. The Worman house is where Harry Worman lived while creating this beautiful resort. Today if you stay at the resort they serve breakfast in the house daily. The Great Depression forced people to not be able to spend the money to come to the vacation spot and Simmons and Worman were forced to sell the land to Dan Norris.
